Weeping Willow Tree & Castle

Imagine walking through a forest and discovering a magical weeping willow tree, towering over a castle, adorned with sparkling lights. Enchanting! 

The weeping willow was born and raised from a wire based structure, followed by several layers of Papier-mâché to provide form and strength. Its wire branches were covered in book pages, and lighting intricately woven through its limbs and hand cut leaves. The castle was built in sections, again using the pages of a book, and lights wired throughout. The ensemble measures 17W x 22H x 14W and sits on the Harry Potter book that was used in the creation of this unique piece.
